Four-row cylindrical roller bearings
Four-row cylindrical roller bearings are used almost exclusively in the roll necks of rolling mill stands, calenders and roller presses. Since four-row cylindrical roller bearings are usually mounted on the roll neck with an interference fit, they are well suited for rolling mill applications with higher rolling speeds.
Since four-row cylindrical roller bearings can only carry radial loads, they are mounted together with deep groove bearings or angular contact ball bearings, or with tapered roller bearings (radial or thrust design) that carry axial loads. .
